Help fund the next cancer breakthrough
Expanding our lab spaces for furthering research activity is necessary to provide the proper rigor of research protocol, dedicated labs, and infusion rooms. Additional laboratory equipment that speeds analysis will foster rapid results that inform progress and next steps.
Help build urgently needed research facilities
Knowing our community, and the cancer health needs and well-being
of all of our constituents, informs us on how to deliver the best possible
cancer care. Our Community Outreach and Education programs provide bridge of communication to learn of their concerns and provide information on prevention for many cancers.
Support outreach programs that improve health outcomes for all
Every year, thousands of people in our region face cancer— some with rare or complex forms that don’t respond to standard treatments. Often, the best option is a clinical trial, where our patients can access tomorrow’s breakthrough therapies, today. Wilmot Cancer Institute is poised to dramatically expand our clinical trial program through an initiative called Developmental Therapeutics— rapidly moving laboratory discoveries into innovative, personalized new approaches and first-in-human treatments for our patients, years before they are available anywhere else.
