Kathy Waller ’80, ’83S (MBA) passes the torch to Judy Reinsdorf ’86. Together, Waller and Reinsdorf embody what it means to lead with purpose. They have shown that volunteer leadership is not just about giving time, it’s about creating impact.
When Marcelina Martynek ’18 moved from New York to Philadelphia, the Rochester connection moved with her. Thanks to the Young Alumni Council’s presence city to city, she found the support and encouragement to pursue her passions, and a reminder that the Rochester community is wherever you are.
As a surgeon at Cedars-Sinai, Laura DiChiacchio ’12M (MS), ’13M (PhD), ’15M (MD) understands that success is built on support. Once a first-generation student at URochester, she now gives back by mentoring students.
As a proud Rochester parent, Brett is helping other families feel that same sense of connection—showing that giving back can start with something as simple as a conversation.
