For over a century, UR Medicine Home Care has provided skilled, compassionate care to patients and families—where they need it most. Last year, our teams made over 130,000 home visits, provided end-of-life care to more than 1,500 hospice patients, and delivered more than 260,000 meals to homebound neighbors.
With your support, we can do even more—expand hospice and grief support, provide comfort therapies like music for children, deliver essential medical equipment, and end the Meals On Wheels waitlist so no one in our community goes hungry.
Helping families through difficult times
From hospice support and bereavement groups to summer camps for kids, UR Medicine Home Care provides safe spaces and expert counseling to help children and adults process loss and develop coping skills. With very little Medicare funding designated for bereavement, your gift helps keep programs for grieving families free and supports continuing education for staff.
