Cross-disciplinary aging research unites biology, genomics, and evolutionary science to uncover how long-lived mammals resist aging and cancer. Vera Gorbunova, the Doris Johns Cherry Professor, and her research team explore genome stability and cellular resilience, offering insights that could lead to new therapies for age-related human diseases.
