Designed to spark giving and expand undergraduate financial aid, the Piaker Family Scholarship Challenge will provide up to $3 million in need-based student financial aid. For each new endowed scholarship that qualifies, matching funds will be added to increase the total scholarship value.

For years, Rochester alumni Dick Schwartz ’63, ’66 (MS) and his late wife, Vicki Proschel Schwartz ’62 have funded undergraduate research and other vital programs to enrich student learning. Through their Schwartz Discover Grant for Undergraduate Summer Research program, they are helping students engage in research early and supporting their explorations and curiosities.
