Black Alumni Network Co-Chairs, Trustee Emerson Fullwood P’03M, P’14M, Sean Allen ’11S (MS), and Ashley Campbell ’09, ’10W (MS) provided remarks, reflecting on the network’s momentum—from cultural programs and student support initiatives to mentorship opportunities and alumni gatherings that strengthen bonds across the University community. The evening was filled with music, conversation, and celebration, highlighting the power of alumni engagement and the importance of creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and inspired.
The celebration also looked toward the future, encouraging alumni to deepen their involvement through mentorship, philanthropy, regional programming, and career networking opportunities that help support the next generation of URochester students and graduates. As attendees raised a glass to BAN’s first five years, the message of the evening was clear: the URochester connection does not end at graduation—it continues to grow through active engagement and shared purpose.
