A Remarkable Dedication
to Our Community’s Well-Being
One of many buildings built by LeChase Construction on the Medical Center campus, Golisano Children’s Hospital is the largest capital project in the University’s history. Its 245,000 square feet of space is dedicated to the special needs of children and their families, including an interactive play pod on the first floor that Wayne and Beverly supported. The state-of-the-art facility also has a less visible but equally powerful impact on helping the hospital to recruit world-class physicians and researchers.

The first major academic building to be constructed on the Wilson Quadrangle in 30 years, Raymond F. LeChase Hall stands as a visible testament to the enduring legacy of the LeChase family, and their impact on the University community and on the future educators, administrators, and leaders in the education field. It is a wonderful example of how Wayne, Beverly and their family have an exponential impact on those who use the buildings and spaces they create and generously support.
